 Dear Su-chan,

As I see that you have fulfilled the sole requirement of my ultimatum, I was willing to go along with your latest photo shoot.

Thank you for the cut-sew shirt, even though I heard you saying that it is a prototype for the future shirts that you intend to make. "It's the thought that counts", I hope that this holds true.

I take it that this is page 5 from the mook series that you were working on earlier?

Thank you, all the same. I do like the lace sleeves and you did say that the things that you are making will all be 'one piece only'.

 To Su-chan:

I would have you know that I am not even in the mood to call you 'Su-chan' and that I'm only doing so for habit's sake. Take note of the following:

1. It seems to have slipped your mind that I dislike being reminded of the fact that I cannot eat in this silly contraption of a body.

2. It's fine to invite a whole load of human friends and have your own tea party.

3. It is even all right with me if you decide to put together a pretend tea party for the others' dolls.

4. But do you honestly think that it is right to shove a plate of real, piping hot and delish-looking panjacks in front of me, just so that you can indulge in your little photo-taking whims?

5. Until you have thought it over and promise not to repeat this little act of yours once more, I refuse to take any part in your future photo shoots.

6. A little reminder: With my birthday being around the corner, kindly remember not to attempt staging another 'birthday cake cutting' scene, as you had done the previous year.

7. Also, I do not like having little girls running around my room with intentions of spiriting Kane-chan away from me. Should you doubt my words, you may refer to my photo proof attached:

I believe that Gwyne-san is likely as bothered as I am by her presence. While I do not wish to offend [info]raining_on -san, I would prefer if the said child is removed at the earliest time possible from our room.

8. You could be easily forgiven for all of the above by choosing to work on more garments for Gwyne and me, instead of for all those other girls.

Thank you for your kind attention. I hope to secure your acknowledgement of this message quickly.

It's been a while since I've contrived a post on this journal. (Wouldn't you like to know how much of a chore it is to get Su-chan to load up the laptop for one of us to get hooked on the 'net?)

Dear Cousin Myone had presented one of her lovely poems to me back in late spring, but Su-chan has been rather reluctant for the piece to be made public. (It had something to do with her having rewritten the poem, claimed it as hers and submitted it duly quite illegally for some competition. Share some of the glory, Steffi, please do. It's not as though it's all yours in the first place, yes?)

Here would be a copy of the poem that was originally by my cousin, with the final edit by Su-chan.

The Lions of Dandé
For Cousin Sanakou

In the far removed plains of old Dandé
Flourish those of manes silver-white,
Of slender frames; high up they
Bask in glorious rays of gold sunlight
Like unwavering flames – a regal front.

But at the whistling of their master Wind,
One sees them swaying, rapt and ready
To do his as he bids; they dance determined
And amass, a rocking, gambolling beastie.
As they prance, they scatter their young with glee –
Farewell offspring, spring thee swift o’er the mount!

Alas at climax of Wind's reedy tune, Rain
Drums down, subduing what raucous revelry.
The collective will shake their phantom ruffs in vain,
Necks bent in arcs, as though burdened verily
By water-logged coats. They exeunt.

Rain-battered, wind-harried,
What splendour flaunt they now?
Their patchy-dewy pelts languid,
Bare-headed, with no cubs left in tow.
Yet – still a faithful clutter of bodies that yearn
To be once more aflutter on Wind's return.

In the nearby fields of Dande, there be a herd of Lions
(With manes silver-white) that surely by Wind enlivens.

Myone knows how much dandelion puffs amuse me, hence the pressed puffs which'd accompanied Lions. My thanks to you, cousin!

Again, Su-chan has asked for another favour. Or rather, I have gladly obliged to her request, since the subject of it concerns me.

This is supposedly a teaser  from 「クモリかな。」 (Kumori kana. / It's cloudy, probably.), a little project that Su-chan claims she intends to work on once she's free. Since we already are aware of her past record of un-delivering, I'd say let's just enjoy this one page that she has managed to do up.

It appears to me that photoshoots for me/us are usually carried out at some of the most economical locations ever. I was hardly asked for consent to model for this shot before I was whisked to some wall at a cafe in town, where we were attending a doll meet. またしつれいしましたね、スーちゃん。 お_お

I would consider it quite timely that I call it quits, for me to have spoken in third person at Su-chan's behest all this while. It has simply become absurd for me to continue doing so. I would not be mistaken to deduce that the readers of my page find the 'Sana-ing' tiresome, yes?

With that swept under the rushes, I would like to let all know that Cousin D'myon relatives have finally arrived at our Custodian's place, albeit not in their entirety. Only their blank doll heads, at this instance in time. (It never fails to puzzle me how piecemeal these host bodies can be. I, for one, am glad that Su-chan had bought mine whole.) I have been provided with the photos of their heads, but more details remain yet unknown to me. Amanoe-san refuses to be kind, claiming to know nothing about the newly arrived, too, although we all know that he has had an even longer history with my clan and the Eytinges than D'myonねえちゃっま and myself combined. There's another person who I can ask to spill, but even I am more sensitive and considerate than to probe her for answers, what with her reticent nature and her current reduced-to-a-head state.

Just in case people are curious, the two gentle lads will be maintain their current bodiless situation unless Su-chan's fund (that's at our disposal) becomes sufficient again. (In fact, I have heard that one of them will have mutual usage of a body with the incoming Master Gwyne D. Eytinge, since they are supposedly of the same 'resin tone')

Now, do not fret. The photos are just... coming... up...

Since everyone has decided to be so shut-mouthed about these two arrivals, not even letting me know of the proper ways to address them, I have decided to christen them Momo Komugi and Kurogoma Mochi. Komugi, for his head resembles a ear of peach-coloured wheat and Mochi, because he resembles a round of sticky rice dough with sesame seeds for eyes.

Now, I shall carry on with this until the rest decide to be more forthcoming with me.
